Woot!...

I dragged myself to yoga with the thought that I just wanted to make it through without flaking out, and that at the very least, the stretching and sweating would make me feel better. I wound up having a great class with a steady feeling of energy. In dandayamana bibhaktapada paschimo....(why can't I remember the regular name of that pose - standing leg stretching something) my head is getting closer and closer to the floor. In standing bow pulling I got pretty high on the second set. In tree I was the only person in the room to go into toe stand (eek!) and I held it on the right (which I did first, in the wrong order, duh) for the longest ever. I was a little quivery, because I was darn tired by the end of the standing series, but I did it! I also got higher in cobra than ever and camel felt easier than it ever had.

Oh and I liked my yogitoes skidless too. Of course as I was laying it out I looked at the tag and it said "wash twice before using". I prayed that it would not bleed blue dye all over me. Supposedly it gets better with use, but it worked pretty well today. I'm glad I got it. I didn't futz around with my towel and mat nearly as much as I usually do.
