SO, I tried the new class today,

"fusion flow". I liked it well enough, though next time I don't want to be in the front of the room because I need to see what is going on.

It was a slower paced, more meditative class but the parts I liked the best were when she picked up the pace a little bit and we flowed more quickly between poses. It had some vinyasa flow with some poses I recognized as being ashtanga-based. I really liked the groovy music she played at low volume.

I am sure I am going to be sore tomorrow but I don't feel like I got the thorough workout that I do with Bikram.

This class is only taught twice a week and one class is at night, so if I hit it every other Monday or so, that would be okay....it would be a change. What I really need to do is work my core, so I need to try to fit in a Pilates mat class once a week or so.

There just aren't enough hours in the day to do all the things I want to do, especially WRT yoga classes.

I am noticing that my waist is much tighter and smaller; I am guessing that is because of ardha chandrasana. Woot!
