Woke up with a terrible headache this morning, probably from not drinking enough water. I was supposed to meet the girls at Oakhurst Park at 9:30, but didn't make it until 10 after 10.
Breakfast - coffee w/half & half, one fried egg, one piece cheese, one turkey sausage. Plus two small breakfast squares made by Beth w/blackberries - not much sugar, but doubtless high in carbs.
Lunch - one small can chicken, mayo, relish (the last of the sweet relish, about five carbs), two fiber crackers, and several spoonfuls each peanut butter and low sugar jam.
Snack - half a Pria Carb Smart bar.
Dinner - I made up a kind of goulash of garic, celery, turkey kielbasa, some Ikea meatballs, a can of kidney beans, a can of white beans, and a chopped tomato. Pretty good...I ate some of the beans, but mostly the meat. Also had some romaine with miso dressing and three squares of sugar free chocolate.

What I ate today.
This morning: coffee w/half & half, then a three mile walk. Two fried eggs with one piece of cheese & one turkey sausage patty.
Lunch: I was pretty hungry by 1:00, even though I ate lunch at 10:00. We went to the U-joint for lunch, where I had a buffalo chicken salad w/blue cheese dressing and two french fries. When I got home, I had half a Pria carb smart bar and three squares of dark sugar-free chocolate.
Snack: not really a snack...I had a gin & tonic with diet tonic water, and a handful of crackers across the street w/Ms. Rosalie, Rosemary & Rachel. I also had some cheese.
Supper: hamburger (no bun) w/blue cheese, romaine with miso dressing. Also ate the last third of Michael's burger (without bun). Plus two glasses of wine. I feel stuffed.
The scale tells me I am 130 pounds. I can't believe that is right - I have lost 18 pounds.

What I ate today.
Breakfast, 7:45: two fried eggs, one piece of cheese, deli turkey, coffee w/half & half.
Lunch, 1:00: low-carb tortilla with turkey pastrami & cheese, a few strawberries, half a Pria Carb Smart bar, and three squares of no-sugar dark chocolate.
Snack, 6:00: handful of nuts.
Supper, 8:00 (after making strawberry spread and eating a bunch of strawberries): romaine & arugula salad with a can of chicken and some lemon-tahini dressing plus one fiber cracker. I also ate many spoonfuls of my strawberry spread. It is quite tart (it's 1 quart strawberries, 1/4 cup sugar, pectin & lemon juice) but totally addicting.

what I ate today.
Three fried eggs with a piece of cheese, coffee with half & half.
A couple pieces of deli turkey.
THREE pieces of Harry Potter Quidditch birthday cake. What was I thinking?
Cut up veggies with the spicy blue cheese dip I made for tomorrow, and a glass of wine.
I feel like a blimp from the birthday cake. Will do better tomorrow.

what I ate today.
Breakfast - two turkey sausage patties and a piece of cheese; a packet of protein powder in 8 oz unsweetened soy milk.
I had three small blue corn chips each with a blob of guacamole on it at the Writing Celebration. It was the only way I could eat the guac.
Lunch - a bottle of water and a small bag of tamari roasted almonds from Rainbow Foods.
Snack - five squares of sugar free chocolate.
Dinner - crock pot brisket - a good amount - in a spicy sauce with onions and celery. Had mine with a piece of cheese and a big salad of romaine and cucumbers in caesar dressing. I just had three squares of unsweetened chocolate.
I did walk this morning.

what I ate today.
Last night I indulged moderately at Robin's party - three mojitos, a tiny german chocolate brownie, a bunch of meatballs in bbq sauce.
This morning I read the paper while I ate so I'm not positive what I had, but I think I had three eggs and three pieces of turkey bacon, plus a wedge of canteloupe.
Breakfast was late, so I had a handful of nuts about 1:30, then I went for a walk about 2:15. I ran at least a mile of the way; it felt great.
When I got back I made chocolate chip cookies for Michael's class. I showed amazing restraint and only had maybe two tablespoons of dough, if that (licked the fork, licked my fingers, etc.). I was craving something sweet so I ate that last sugar free chocolate caramel and a handful of nuts.
For supper I was going to make chicken carbonara, but I was out of eggs. So I sauteed the chicken and roasted some cut-up asparagus. When the chicken was done, I threw some chopped garlic and chopped rosemary & thyme in the pan, let it cook for a minute, then poured about a third cup of white wine in the pan to deglaze it. THen I added probably a half cup of cream and about 3/4 cup or so of half & half and let it simmer with the chicken in it. I added salt & pepper and a few spoonfuls of grated parmesan. I served it over noodles for them; I garnished it with the roasted asparagus and crumbled turkey bacon. It was delish.
Now I am having five squares of sugar free milk chocolate.
Since we're out of eggs, I'm not sure what I'll eat in the morning. Maybe I'll have a piece of turkey sausage and a protein drink.

what I ate today.
Breakfast: two fried eggs, two pieces of turkey sausage. Coffee w/half & half.
Then a four mile bike ride with Michael.
Lunch: two wedges of canteloupe. A low carb tortilla with a piece of cheese and a few slices deli turkey, nuked. Then two or three fiber crackers (zero carbs) with some curried chicken dip. Then half a container of plain greek yogurt with a generous tablespoon of raspberry low sugar jam and a few drops of Splenda (it was yummy & about ten carbs).
Now: an iced coffee and a handful of mixed nuts.
I have to write this down sometimes because I can't believe I am losing weight without feeling hungry. I keep thinking that surely I am eating more than I am, because I sometimes feel full (or fat!) for hours after eating. However, I have gone from 148-150 to 135-137 since about February.
